~~Let it Snow ~~

I'm not sure I really want it to snow...ever....us suthyn folks don't have a clue about driving in that stuff! But I saw a card in my CardMaker magazine and was inspired by it.The back ground paper was a gift form a sweet friend I met on the Cricut Message Board...thank you Jeannene!!I punched out many many snow flakes, using my Martha Stewart punch, some of them in vellum.Used the Gypsy font as well as the snow word, from Gypsy wanderings and welded them together.Use several different types of glitter on the snow flakes, did some inking and popping, added just a few pearls, that bring out the color in the back ground paper, I hope so anyway. Embossed the back ground paper with the snow flake folder( this ain't rocket science lol ) added the ribbon and button and now I'm looking at the skies....wheeeeh..No snow in sight !! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Joy, this is spectacular! Love the use of that snowflake punch and the touch of blue that you've added is wonderful with the pretty paper from Jeannene! You should enter this in the challenge over at The Gypsy Spot!

Ahh, we were inspired by the same picture. I like your snowflake better than mine. But, I was pretty happy with how it came out. Yours is so pretty!!

Welcome to My World

This sight is dedicated to the art of card making....of which I am addicted ! I began making cards a few months before Dan was deployed to Iraq.I wanted to make sure he had a new card to open every day, so I used BlueMountian.Co and created him 2 months worth of cards !About a year ago I saw that famous infomercial for a little bug called a Cricut.Well, after watching it numerous times, I HAD to have it...and I ordered it!!!Then I found the Cricut Message Board and I hit pay dirt!!! I was, and still am so inspired by some of the talented women on that board!I have to give them credit for making me the card maker that I am today!!!
Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!
I hope you enjoy looking at my cards, as much as I enjoy making them!!!
