A Bushel of Thanks

Hi Y'all....I made this card for my parents. They were visiting my sister in Tn. last week and they love to go to Crows Mountain, on the way home and get apples. They drove over Sunday and brought Dan and I 1/2 peck of apples and 2 gallons of the BEST apple cider I have ever tasted. I'm sippin some right now.I made them this lil thank you card using Doodlecharms for the basket and apples, My Community for the tree , Paper Doll Dress Up for the grass and good ole George for the tag. This card was designed and cut using my G.Lots of inking, popping and layering.Added the twine and vintage button. The paper is Grandmas Kitchen from WeRMemory Keepers and I bought it at Michael's.Both my parents LOVE these lil pedestal cards, so I gave 'em what they like! Thanks so much for taking a look!!!! Your sweet comments keep me inspired!!

Adorable Joy! Fresh apples right off the tree, what could be better than that? Love your little scene, and the little song you put on the card was one my auntie used to sing to me. really brings me back! Too cute! xxD

Welcome to My World

This sight is dedicated to the art of card making....of which I am addicted ! I began making cards a few months before Dan was deployed to Iraq.I wanted to make sure he had a new card to open every day, so I used BlueMountian.Co and created him 2 months worth of cards !About a year ago I saw that famous infomercial for a little bug called a Cricut.Well, after watching it numerous times, I HAD to have it...and I ordered it!!!Then I found the Cricut Message Board and I hit pay dirt!!! I was, and still am so inspired by some of the talented women on that board!I have to give them credit for making me the card maker that I am today!!!
Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!
I hope you enjoy looking at my cards, as much as I enjoy making them!!!
