~~~ Santa's Slackers Challenge #11 ~~~
Good morning Y'all !!! It's time for another challenge. I can't believe Christmas is less than 2 months away!! Sandi and I decided on a simple card this week....just a Christmas tree !! How easy is that ? I opted to make mine an easel card because this the last card that I am offering Jimmie Gayle to choose from. She ordered 12 and she loves the easels so this is it. I used the Christmas cart for the tree and I cut the snow on the tree at several sizes....it was like working a jig saw puzzle to lay all those lil pieces out so I cut some larger. The snow drifts are from the same cart. I embossed the background with the Snow Village Cuttlebug folder, added some punched snow flakes and pearls and even tiny pearls on the small raised dots. This was hard to photograph because I used green holographic paper.It's really prettier in person. Once again, I left the base of the easel blank so she can decide what she wants there. I hope y'all have fun with the challenge.....I'll be peeking back to see what you have created...Have fun!!!!
Welcome to My World
This sight is dedicated to the art of card making....of which I am addicted ! I began making cards a few months before Dan was deployed to Iraq.I wanted to make sure he had a new card to open every day, so I used BlueMountian.Co and created him 2 months worth of cards !About a year ago I saw that famous infomercial for a little bug called a Cricut.Well, after watching it numerous times, I HAD to have it...and I ordered it!!!Then I found the Cricut Message Board and I hit pay dirt!!! I was, and still am so inspired by some of the talented women on that board!I have to give them credit for making me the card maker that I am today!!!
Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!
I hope you enjoy looking at my cards, as much as I enjoy making them!!!
