~~ Vintage Halloween ~~

Hi Y'all.....I found all these cute vintage images at Free Vintage Halloween Postcards and I decided to make a quick lil card. Well, quick it was not, because the cat, from the October 31 cart doesn't cut so well. I tried changing the speed, the pressure, and I cut it 8 times before I finally said forget it...and I lopped off his whiskers...they did not want to cut so cleanly for me...grrrrrrrrrr!! Anyway, I used Spellbinder, Label 4( I think) for the mat, added the ribbon, buttons and pearls and cussed the cat a whole lot before I sprayed him with some Tattered Angels mist and mounted him. Oh I sprayed the vintage image with Smooch Spritz...I'm really loving this spray!! Have a great weekend and thanks so much for stopping by !!!!

Love this, Joy! So full of fun vintage. That rascally cat deserves to have his whisker cut! LOL! He looks more devilish without them. I have tattered angels and a small bottle of smooch top coat, but I haven't heard of the spritz. Just one more thing to add to my list, I guess! I have a few goodies packed up and heading to the Post Office on Monday, so be on the lookout for it!

This is just tooo toooo cute!!!! Cutting off it's whiskers should really teach that cat a lesson!! He doesn't any worse for the wear though. I've pm chatted with you over on the mb. I'm sharonswafford over there. Could never get a picture to post. I'm from Cullman. I just hardly ever get over to the board any more. I stay so busy with work and creating. :)

Too cute, Joy! I adore vintage images, especailly Halloween. Love that cat. Haven't tried to cut it yet, though. What size were you working at? He still look spooky, even without whiskers. xxD

Welcome to My World

This sight is dedicated to the art of card making....of which I am addicted ! I began making cards a few months before Dan was deployed to Iraq.I wanted to make sure he had a new card to open every day, so I used BlueMountian.Co and created him 2 months worth of cards !About a year ago I saw that famous infomercial for a little bug called a Cricut.Well, after watching it numerous times, I HAD to have it...and I ordered it!!!Then I found the Cricut Message Board and I hit pay dirt!!! I was, and still am so inspired by some of the talented women on that board!I have to give them credit for making me the card maker that I am today!!!
Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!
I hope you enjoy looking at my cards, as much as I enjoy making them!!!
