U Rock !

Oh, this card was SOOO out of my comfort zone ! My BFF, Sharon asked me to make her grandson, Hayden, a card for his 11th birthday and I suggested the guitar and skull and cross bones on the IA cart.....kinda sorta jokin with her and she said YES, he would love that! His parents are taking him to a Motley Crue concert for his birthday and this would be perfect! Oh goody...Oh boy. Thank goodness I have seen some cards on the MB using those cuts,( the most recent, JulieH....Thanks ! ) so I wasn't totally in the dark.I had this guitar paper for the background and I started from there, cutting the skull and cross bones on shadow and regular feature, the POW image was cut using the blackout function, and the guitar was cut on the regular feature.I used Jasmine for the letters, using both regular and shadow. Each image was cut 3 times, cause I like that chipboard effect.Did lots of inking, popping and praying! Added the lil silver pearls and wiped my brow! Thanks so much for looking ...I hope Sharon approves and I hope y'all do as well!!!!

Welcome to My World

This sight is dedicated to the art of card making....of which I am addicted ! I began making cards a few months before Dan was deployed to Iraq.I wanted to make sure he had a new card to open every day, so I used BlueMountian.Co and created him 2 months worth of cards !About a year ago I saw that famous infomercial for a little bug called a Cricut.Well, after watching it numerous times, I HAD to have it...and I ordered it!!!Then I found the Cricut Message Board and I hit pay dirt!!! I was, and still am so inspired by some of the talented women on that board!I have to give them credit for making me the card maker that I am today!!!
Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!
I hope you enjoy looking at my cards, as much as I enjoy making them!!!
