~~~ With Sympathy ~~~
Good morning Y'all !! I made it through Atlanta without havin a nervous breakdown...yea me !! This card is for my X Daughter in Law.He father passed away last week and I wanted to make her a card and to use a new technique that I discoverd over at I used a Prima flower for the butterfly !! Many of you may have seen this and used the flowers for butterflies before, but I had never seen it and I couldn't wait to try it out. Considering that it's my 1st attempt, I think it came out kinda pretty! There are several tutorials on Youtube if you want to give them a try.I think I keyed in "how to make butterflies from prima flowers." I used Cindy Loo for the frame and Wild Card for the sentiment. Added some pearls made with Liquid Pearls, did some inking and popping and added some Crinkle Ribbon ontop of the punched scallops.Thanks for taking a peek and for all the prayers that helped me make it through Hotlanta !! xoxoxox Joy
Welcome to My World
This sight is dedicated to the art of card making....of which I am addicted ! I began making cards a few months before Dan was deployed to Iraq.I wanted to make sure he had a new card to open every day, so I used BlueMountian.Co and created him 2 months worth of cards !About a year ago I saw that famous infomercial for a little bug called a Cricut.Well, after watching it numerous times, I HAD to have it...and I ordered it!!!Then I found the Cricut Message Board and I hit pay dirt!!! I was, and still am so inspired by some of the talented women on that board!I have to give them credit for making me the card maker that I am today!!!
Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!
I hope you enjoy looking at my cards, as much as I enjoy making them!!!
