~~~ Bloom ~~~
Hi Y'all....I have 1 sunflower that comes back year after year and it is blooming right now, so I decided to make a sunflower card...even tho it looks like a mum! Dan and I planted more sunflowers today and I am going to use this card, to share some seeds with my friend Darlene's, daughter. She has always shared day lilies and other flowers with me, so I thought I would make this card for her and share some seeds.My card critic Dan says this card is plain.....oh well.I used Paisley for the large flower and Bloom for the tiny lil flowers on the envie, which was made using the Wild Card cart.The picket fence was cut using the Bloom cart as well.The smaller flowers were punched. I did some inking and added buttons and called it done, even if it is plain! Thanks for taking a peek!!!
love the gate and the little envelope so pretty
Your card is lovely - and the envelope is such a pretty way to share some seeds.
There's nothing plain about it! Looks like a pretty country garden. Love the little envy to hold the seeds. So pretty, Joy!
Oh Joy, your card is far from plain, (you can tell Dan we all said so!)it's perfect! I love it! Makes me want to stroll through a garden!
Welcome to My World
This sight is dedicated to the art of card making....of which I am addicted ! I began making cards a few months before Dan was deployed to Iraq.I wanted to make sure he had a new card to open every day, so I used BlueMountian.Co and created him 2 months worth of cards !About a year ago I saw that famous infomercial for a little bug called a Cricut.Well, after watching it numerous times, I HAD to have it...and I ordered it!!!Then I found the Cricut Message Board and I hit pay dirt!!! I was, and still am so inspired by some of the talented women on that board!I have to give them credit for making me the card maker that I am today!!!
Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!
I hope you enjoy looking at my cards, as much as I enjoy making them!!!
