~~ Celebrate Spring ~~

Happy Sunday !!! The sun is trying to shine here today...yipppeeee!! I just love the arrival of Spring...the earth coming alive after a long hard winter....God painting the landscape with a multitude of color!! So in honor of my favorite season, I designed this lil card, celebrating Spring! I did get the concept for this card from a very talented lady, Laura. Thanks Laura!! I'm going to also play along with the CCC with this card. I used the new Flower Shower paper pack from Joann's. The birdhouse was cut from Stretch Your Imagination, the bird and flowers from Serenade.I welded the circle, as well as the picket fence...yes, there is one under all the flowers to the birdhouse and used my Nestabilities to form the scalloped circle around the hole in the house. I cut the flower on an empty cereal box, cause y'all know I love depth! I used Christmas Noel for the bow at the top and a sizzix die for the tag. I embossed the tag, added buttons and sat back to celebrate spring!!! I hope that wherever you are, Spring is on the way!! Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek !!!!

Welcome to My World

This sight is dedicated to the art of card making....of which I am addicted ! I began making cards a few months before Dan was deployed to Iraq.I wanted to make sure he had a new card to open every day, so I used BlueMountian.Co and created him 2 months worth of cards !About a year ago I saw that famous infomercial for a little bug called a Cricut.Well, after watching it numerous times, I HAD to have it...and I ordered it!!!Then I found the Cricut Message Board and I hit pay dirt!!! I was, and still am so inspired by some of the talented women on that board!I have to give them credit for making me the card maker that I am today!!!
Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!
I hope you enjoy looking at my cards, as much as I enjoy making them!!!
