Hi Y'all....it seems like forever since I posted a card and I sure hate that it's a sympathy card.I found out through FaceBook that my friend Peggy, lost her Daddy several weeks ago. I used the Easter 2010 cart for the cross and I had seen so many wonderful cards made using Bloom, that I had to go out and buy it !! Y'all are such enablers !! Bloom was used for the mat. I added some punched butterflies and pearls and the sentiment is from Wild Card. Thanks for taking a peek !!! xoxo Joy

Welcome to My World
This sight is dedicated to the art of card making....of which I am addicted ! I began making cards a few months before Dan was deployed to Iraq.I wanted to make sure he had a new card to open every day, so I used BlueMountian.Co and created him 2 months worth of cards !About a year ago I saw that famous infomercial for a little bug called a Cricut.Well, after watching it numerous times, I HAD to have it...and I ordered it!!!Then I found the Cricut Message Board and I hit pay dirt!!! I was, and still am so inspired by some of the talented women on that board!I have to give them credit for making me the card maker that I am today!!!
Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!
I hope you enjoy looking at my cards, as much as I enjoy making them!!!

I am sorry to hear about your friend's daddy. But I do love your card. This cross is one of my very favorite. I really think it is the best cut on that cartridge. The colors you used to make the card are so dramatic and pretty. This is a beautiful card. I know your friend, Peggy, will really love it and appreciate all your hard work to make it.
Losing a daddy is hard. That beautiful card will lift her spirits for sure. It's really nice.
Beautiful card Joy. I know that your friend will appreciate and treasure it. Lost my Daddy 4 years ago and I know how she must be feeling right now. She's lucky to have a thoughtful friend like you.
beautiful card Joy, Your friend will love the card!
Hope all is well with
you,
Carol<><
I think you make more sympathy cards than anyone I know, Joy. But all are beautiful and I'm sure very much appreciated. This is so lovely. Hey you visited but probably didn't scroll down enough. I used some of the gorgeous vintage buttons you sent me for a Macabre Monday post. (Sorry about that, but I think it turned out kinda cute.) LOL. xxD
