~ I'm Blue Without You, Valentine ~

Good Morning Y'all!!! I made this card for my niece, Elizabeth.I got to see her for maybe 10 minutes at Thanksgiving and I miss her and I'm blue. I took artistic liberties with this card, cause it really isn't blue at all....does sea green count as blue ?? I used my go to cart, Sweethearts, for the hearts. I held my breath and cut the scalloped heart out in a light pink vellum.Create a Critter was used for the flowers. The vellum flowers were punched. The lattice is a punch, as well .Used some vintage buttons, added Memory Thread, some bling and some lace.Lots of inking and did some embossing with the Textiles folder. Thanks for taking a peek !!

xoxo Joy

Joy, Another pretty card. Love the vintage picture and the blue. Your niece will love it.

I don't know Joy, sea green might just be pushing it a little bit, but there is enough blue in it to count...another sweet card!!
today my hubby said he was tired of the cold and ready for it to warm up...something he normally does not complain about, the silos are not working that great in this deep freeze. on the brighter side, it is suppose to be above norm around here next week... hope you did not get too much of the snow/ice
stay warm,

Welcome to My World

This sight is dedicated to the art of card making....of which I am addicted ! I began making cards a few months before Dan was deployed to Iraq.I wanted to make sure he had a new card to open every day, so I used BlueMountian.Co and created him 2 months worth of cards !About a year ago I saw that famous infomercial for a little bug called a Cricut.Well, after watching it numerous times, I HAD to have it...and I ordered it!!!Then I found the Cricut Message Board and I hit pay dirt!!! I was, and still am so inspired by some of the talented women on that board!I have to give them credit for making me the card maker that I am today!!!
Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!
I hope you enjoy looking at my cards, as much as I enjoy making them!!!
