~~ Santa's Slackers Challenge # 3 ~~ Trim the Tree ~~

G'Mornin Y'all !! I hope you all had a safe and wonderful weekend! I got my football fix...watched college games all day and into the night...I'm a happy camper! This card is for the Santa's Slackers Challenge. I guess I am on a Prim binge and I found this prim looking doll on the Heritage cart and I used Don Juan for the trees. Her lil pinafore was cut using Paper Doll Dress Up and I used a punch for the stars. The sentiment is computer generated.Added some lace , did a little inking and finished it up with some corners I made using scalloped edged scissors. Thanks so much for taking a peek!!

Well I missed the last one. Got so caught up in other things that I didn't get a card made. I'm a SLACKER!!!!! I'll try harder this time! Love that little doll from the Heritage Cart. Could never think of a way to use her. You did and it is just perfect!!! :)

Ugh! I think I just deleted my comment! I'm totally spacing out today!
So glad you received my package! Don't you love coming home to little surprises?! This little doll is adorable (although she does kinda freak me out a little bit! LOL) And Don Juan has these cool trees? Who knew?!

Welcome to My World

This sight is dedicated to the art of card making....of which I am addicted ! I began making cards a few months before Dan was deployed to Iraq.I wanted to make sure he had a new card to open every day, so I used BlueMountian.Co and created him 2 months worth of cards !About a year ago I saw that famous infomercial for a little bug called a Cricut.Well, after watching it numerous times, I HAD to have it...and I ordered it!!!Then I found the Cricut Message Board and I hit pay dirt!!! I was, and still am so inspired by some of the talented women on that board!I have to give them credit for making me the card maker that I am today!!!
Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!
I hope you enjoy looking at my cards, as much as I enjoy making them!!!
