~~ Santa's Slackers Challenge # 2 ~~

Hi Y'all !!! I hope you had a great Labor Day !! Dan and I labored alright....we got to the lake and found that the power had been off for what must have been a week or more. I can't begin to describe how stinky and nasty our fridge was....oh, I might gag just thinking about that smell! Anyway, I had to get busy making a card for the 2ND SSC. This is my take on it. After I had it made, my friend Darlene called to ask me if we had to make the card a 5x7 and I was like what??? Needless to say, mine is a standard A2 card. I used the Christmas cart for the holly and computer generated the lil 25 in the circle. I kinda let the paper work for me. Sprayed it all with Smooch and there you have it ! I hope y'all continue to play along with us...thanks for stopping by!!!!

Welcome to My World

This sight is dedicated to the art of card making....of which I am addicted ! I began making cards a few months before Dan was deployed to Iraq.I wanted to make sure he had a new card to open every day, so I used BlueMountian.Co and created him 2 months worth of cards !About a year ago I saw that famous infomercial for a little bug called a Cricut.Well, after watching it numerous times, I HAD to have it...and I ordered it!!!Then I found the Cricut Message Board and I hit pay dirt!!! I was, and still am so inspired by some of the talented women on that board!I have to give them credit for making me the card maker that I am today!!!
Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!
I hope you enjoy looking at my cards, as much as I enjoy making them!!!
