~~~ BOO ~~~
Good Morning Y'all! I want to say a big THANK YOU to Kimberly, for giving me the privilege to be a part of her awesome Design Team!!! The last 6 months have been really fun and creative and it's sad that this will be my finale card , as part of that team. When Kimberly asked me to be on her DT, I was very reluctant, because y'all know I struggle with stamping!!! But thanks to Kimberly, I think that I have conquered my fear! lol Thanks again, Kimberly..you were a sweetheart to work with!! I wish I could have taken Kimberly up on the offer for another 6 months, but this time of year is just TOO hectic for me!! She is having a DT call, so some of you might want to go over and submit a project if you want to be on one of THE BEST design teams in blog land !!
 The theme over at http://craftspotbykimberly.blogspot.com is to make a Cute Halloween card. I have become hooked on making shutter cards and today's card is made using that format. I have been making them because I get to layer all types of great papers and today's paper is from
DCWV,The Ghosts and Goblins Matstack.
The recipe:
Pumpkin.....A Child's Year
Skeleton and Fence.....Paper Doll Dress Up
Moon....Camp Out
Haunted House.....Holiday Cakes
BOO.....Storybook
Witch.....Martha Stewart Punch
Mat for Stamped Sentiment.....Punch from StampinUp
Sentiment....Happy Haunting Stamp Set that you can find here.
Black and White Bakers Twine.....this can be found at the above link, as well.
Glimmer Mist
Thanks so much for taking a peek!!!!!
  1. You are now the queen of the shutters! What a fun card style. This one is so cute. I love that skeleton. I hope you are feeling better. I hear ya on being busy this time of year. I am going to miss the regular DT posts, and have sure enjoyed watching your creations move in different directions. You will do amazing things with paper with or without a DT gig. I may try one of these shutters for Kate this week. We will if I can manage a shaped shutter card. ;) Went to the bead store last night...a new addiction...great. :(
  2. Joy this is such an amazing, fun card! I love the shape and all the great layers of patterned papers. The Haunted house is perfect and I love the stamped sentiment with the twine and button...super cute! The front of your card is great with that spooky fun skeleton and pumpkin. Love this! I know that Kimberly hates to lose you on the DT because all of your creations are fabulous, but maybe you can jump back in once you get a break. And...I have to add...you have nailed the stamping technique!!
