~~ John Allen's 35th Birthday Card ~~~

My child is making an old woman of me !!! My baby will be 35 in a few weeks and I had found these number charms months ago and knew I would use them on a card for him...so that's where the inspiration began, at the clearance counter at Michael's ! Of course, I used the Art Philosophy cart for his card!! The oval mat, present and pennants were all cut from the AP cart. I used Gypsy Wanderings for the musical notes.I am really loving this cart and this type of card...I get to show case this beautiful Graphic 45 paper!! I also used the same technique as on the other card I made earlier, for the bow. You can find the video here. I am lovin these bows too!!! Lots and lots of inking on this card, lots of layering and popping. I added some brads and some pretty craft thread, given to me by Tatiana...thanks T, I just died it with Ranger Ink to change the shade a bit. The sentiment is a stamp from the CTMH/AP Bundle. If any of y'all NEED ( hahaha ) to order this bundle, I can hook you right up!! Thanks for all the sweet comments y'all always leave....thanks for taking a peek!!!

  5. Wow! The inside is as gorgeous as the outside. I wish John Allen had 4 birthdays a year. ;) I love that paper bow. Thanks for posting a link to the video. You know I will be checking that out. Those charms you added are super cute...and I love the vintage looking paper. You do find the best paper packs. You and I could compete for messiest crafter...I have that gorgeous drafting table that hubby got and I can only use an 8 by 8 corner of it. The entire tabletop is covered. I keep meaning to clear it off, but it might mess up my limited mojo. I made the mistake of getting up to watch HSN's craft day. I have been good, only one punch set so far, but it's been hard. I love the look and feel of this card. Your work has an intangible quality to it that makes it something special. You go, girl!
