Welcome to the Lake

This card was made for a dear friend Larry and his family that were camping at the lake this week.Shannon made Lt. Col. in the AF since we saw him last year. Congrats to Shannon!!!And since we are at a Military Park, I decided to do a patriotic theme.
New Arrivals was used for the boat, cut at 3", several times.
Home Accents was used for the "water"....its actually the "dream" cut, done in blackout mode.
Jasmine for the corners, cut at 41/2"
Cuttlebug was used to make the fish.
Lots of inking, poppin, added some brads and a tiny piece of ribbon.
Buddy, AKA Larry, loved this card and thinks I should charge $100 for this piece of art!
God Bless him!

Vicki's Belated Birthday Card

As usual, I am a day late and a dollar short! Making this B'day card for Vicki was NO exception! Vicki is one of the very talented women on the Cricut MS and we have become internet buddies!
DonJuan was used for the letters H and B, both cut at 2" several times.
I printed the Happy Birthday overlay on vellum.
Celebrations was used for the birthday hat, cut at 3", several times.
George was used for the stars, cut at 1" numerous times.
I used my Cuttlebug for the inside, sorry I missed it
Nestabilities for all the scalloped rectangles.

Lots of poppin, layering and I used a white gel pen for the doodlin.
added some brads and a piece of ribbon and there ya go!

Welcome to My World

This sight is dedicated to the art of card making....of which I am addicted ! I began making cards a few months before Dan was deployed to Iraq.I wanted to make sure he had a new card to open every day, so I used BlueMountian.Co and created him 2 months worth of cards !About a year ago I saw that famous infomercial for a little bug called a Cricut.Well, after watching it numerous times, I HAD to have it...and I ordered it!!!Then I found the Cricut Message Board and I hit pay dirt!!! I was, and still am so inspired by some of the talented women on that board!I have to give them credit for making me the card maker that I am today!!!
Thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart!
I hope you enjoy looking at my cards, as much as I enjoy making them!!!
